The primary purpose of Walk With the Warriors, Inc. is to make a difference in the lives of the American Indian Veterans, their worth, belief, trust, and faith. To re-identify the teachings of the ancestor make it pubic awareness. In turn the local Governments, State Government, and Federal Government may also be aware what an American Indian Veteran really is? A Warrior (Veteran) was treated with great respect and held at high esteem in the days of old, because they have given up their lives to the Creator (God) for the safety of the people. A Warrior is human and has feelings just like anyone, but has given up its life for the sake of the land and the people. He or She stood up for you and took the bullet, so you can enjoy freedom. Freedom is like water, you can only live so long without it. Always be aware for you never know what or who is behind the next horizon. A Warrior's triumph is always in total respect to God and Country. It is not up to him or she to ask, but for us to acknowledge his or her suffering. How can we say thank you to our Warriors (Veterans). All Veterans, not just American Indian Veterans. A. To do and perform all acts necessary and desirable to the accomplishment of the below specific purpose as permitted by the "Nonprofit Corporation Act" of the State of Arizona. B. To promote, help, encourage and foster improvements living conditions of American Indian Veterans. C. To promote the best physical health and cultural living conditions and satisfactory to all Foreign War Veterans beginning with age, for WWII Veterans are in their late 70 or 80's. D. To eliminate discrimination suffered by Native American Indian Veterans at home and throughout the United States of America. E. To develop better channels of communication and understanding between American Indian Tribal Governments and the United States Government. F. To insist upon fulfillment and enrichment of individual living conditions of the American Indian Veteran based on signed treaties and established agreements between the American Indian Tribal Governments and the United States Government. G. To promote the newly Discharged Soldier, resources of how and where to find counseling, assistance, and spiritual guidance to make readjustment to normal life expectancy of normal society. H. To eradicate misunderstandings, misgivings, and mistrusts caused by years and years of missing absolutions. I. Recommending Native American Indian Veterans working with Native American Indian Veterans at all levels of the legislature. National, State, and local governing legislatures, to include outreach programs in local communities. J. To promote before the public through news medias, that all Veterans are equal and important regardless of color, creed or Religion. Especially non-combat veterans, because they went through the same type of combat training and would have been there when called upon. K. To study, on a nonpartisan basis, proposed legislations or rules and regulations introduced in any Federal, State, or local legislative or administrative body which may effect the social, economic, educational, or physical welfare of the Native American Indian Veteran, American Indian Veterans do have a voice in the legislature. L. To assist disabled and needy Veterans, to include but not limited to, the Combat Vets, their dependents, their widows and orphans or others. M. To cooperate with other corporations, groups, and institutions engaged in similar activities, with a view towards carrying out the purposes described herein above in the most effective manner. N. To advocate and promote published research information's between Native American Indian Veterans and the General American society. In references to the legality and availability, of types of assistance or compensations. All in all Exercising the best means of communicating and representations to coexist contrary to State, Local Government, and general public. O. To promote and advocate proper funeral arrangements, services, and burial sites for any Veterans. P. To promote and advocate that proper pre-separation counseling is given to young men and women before departing from the military services. Q. To ensure proper policies are in place, designed to improve the quality of life, in the areas of employment, education, health and welfare for not only American Indian Veterans, but also the American Indian People in general for they are one and inseparable. R. To Eliminate factions, which may affect the Social, Economic, Education, or Physical welfare of the Native American Indian Veteran that are already in place. S. To promote and foster the trust and belief the constitution of the United States represents. T. To instill unity in the American Public in protecting the Old Red, White, and Blue, and the democratic way of government. For the democratic way of life was already in existence here on Turtle Island for thousands of years. U. To inaugurate if anyone should not agree with the law of the land take it to your higher official or go back to your ancestral land. V. Walk With the Warriors Inc. will in all cases stands it's grounds, for it represents relatives and love ones who gave the ultimate and died for this constitution and democracy A. American Indians have endured all factions and
atrocities of all World Wars and Conflicts. |
